FIONA MACKENZIE

Fiona Mackenzie is a film and television writer, director and producer, and a founding
partner in Cosa Bella Films. CB Films has a slate of film and television projects being
packaged with talent, and financed as US/UK/Canadian co productions. Those include;
Modern Conveniences, a music driven romantic comedy shooting 2010 in New York
City; Panoramic; a 26 episode, celebrity hosted, music, philanthropy, travel, and concert
series 2010/11; and Alpha Numeric, an action thriller, shooting in Montreal.

Before founding CB Films Ms. Mackenzie was based at Sony Pictures in Los Angeles as
the Vice President of Features and Television of the Turman-Morrisey Company;
American History X, The Graduate, The River Wild...She then held a Producing deal with
Twentieth Century Fox and Davis Entertainment; Alien Vs. Predator, I,Robot, The
Chamber, Behind Enemy Lines…Ms. Mackenzie also worked for Gaumont TV on the hit
sci-fi television series, The Highlander. Before her career in motion pictures and series
TV, Ms. Mackenzie was the European correspondent for ABC’s Worldwide Television
News (WTN). Based in Paris, Ms. Mackenzie gained seven years of experience writing,
directing, editing and producing hundreds of hours of prime time documentary features
across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Ms. Mackenzie also worked for CNN, the BBC, TF1,
Canal Plus, Telemundo, MTV, ABC, CBS and VH1. The scope of her television writing
and directing include politics, music, travel, arts, and entertainment.

Born in Hong Kong, and a dual US/UK citizen, Ms. Mackenzie is bilingual in English
and French, and conversational in Spanish and Italian. She has held a lifelong passion for
travel and philanthropic international relations, after being selected at age fifteen as a
high school exchange student and sent to the Dominican Republic. Ms. Mackenzie is
committed to giving back to those in need, and through the Panoramic documentary
series and concerts, is launching a Panoramic educational foundation to help students in
developing nations receive higher education grants to study and live abroad.

Ms. Mackenzie graduated with a four year B.A. in Political Science and Economics from
California’s U.C. Berkeley and holds a two year Masters of Science Degree (M.S.) in
International Relations from Georgetown University’s Graduate School of Foreign
Service. While at Georgetown Ms. Mackenzie was selected as a White House Intern in
the office of Political Appointees (Ambassadorial appointments) and was a Summer
Associate at the Wall Street Journal.

Today, Ms. Mackenzie is involved in multiple Film, Television, Branded Entertainment
and Social Media ventures as writer, director and producer. She has been a guest lecturer
at NYU’s Tisch Film School and Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service,
speaking on Human Rights, Film and the Creative Writing Process. Ms. Mackenzie loves
art, music, travel and the great outdoors, and happily resides in New York City.
